Dive Nomad offers a truly unique adventure diving experience. They operate 6 day dive trips to the outer Coral Sea reefs using fly in floatplane access to reach their 80ft custom designed liveaboard.
The Odyssey is among the largest liveaboard dive boat operating in the Coral Sea. An 80-foot twin hull, she has ample space for up to 16 divers, with private cabins and quad share cabins
The boat was custom built in 2005 so it's perfectly suited for extended remote dive trips. There are ample enclosed and open air dining and relaxing areas. The boat is well-equipped for diving. A expansive dive deck with individal seating and storage facilities and has a short stairway descent to a water level entry platform. A very quiet compressor keeps the tanks filled and ready to use.
Two extra dive tenders permit groups to dive and explore the many bommies within and surrounding the reefs lagoon anchorage. Your time with Dive Nomad will be spent in unprecedented comfort while you dive and explore the virtually untouched coral Atolls and lagoons of the Coral Sea and Queensland Coast.
The seaplanes that will take you for your ultimate adventure are a pair of Cessna 208A Caravans equipped with floats. Island Air operate these planes, and are based at Hamilton Island.
