The luxurious Spirit of Freedom is one of the most comfortable and relaxing ways to dive some of the best sites that Australia’s Great Barrier Reef has to offer. With a length of 37 meters, the Spirit of Freedom is one of the largest, most comfortable and best-equipped charter vessels in Australia ensuring that whilst you are not diving one of the amazing dive sites that the Spirit of Freedom visits you will be relaxing onboard a superbly equipped vessel.

Spirit of Freedom also features a comfortable lounge bar, a saloon that has a Plasma TV’s, DVD player and a movie library also doubles as the dining area for those that do not wish to dine al fresco on the open air deck. There is also an excellent wine cellar aboard to enhance you eating enjoyment. With a range of 6,000 nautical miles the Spirit of Freedom is easily able to visit the more remore areas of the Coral Sea and the Northern Great Barrier Reef.

For extra smooth sailing the Spirit of Freedom is fitted with electronic stabilizers so although there is still movement it makes for comfortable transitions between dive sites. The dive deck is well designed and spacious and there is a Nitrox Membrane system onboard allowing those suitably qualified to benefit from extended bottom times on the fabulous reefs that are visited. The Spirit of Freedom is also equipped with digital photo facilities allowing you to capture and view those “Kodak” moments.

For those guests taking part in the 3 or 4 day liveaboard there is also the fantastic experience of the low level flight between Cairns and Lizard Island. It’s a awesome way to start or finish your trip and the views are simply stunning, just remember to keep your camera with you for some amazing reef shots from 200 meters above!! Of course this also saves you valuable time allowing you to spend more time diving and less time traveling.

The large ensuite cabins all have individual air conditioning and allow you somewhere to relax at the end of your days diving if you are not wishing to relax in the onboard lounge. The cabins are serviced daily by the crew. The Ocean View Deluxe has a TV & DVD player and all the Ocean View Cabins and the Stateroom feature a CD Player.
