Course outline
The course consists of academic study, consisting of video presentation and
academic discussion, practical application session plus two open water training
dives. The course normally runs over one day.
During the academic and presentation sections of the course topics covered
will include -
The Wheel: its use and calibration.
Decompression theory
Repetitive diving theory
Dive computer overview
Multilevel diving theory
Repetitive Diving
Ascent procedures
Decompression diving
Choosing and Using Dive computers
Decompression sickness
Multilevel dive equipment
Multilevel dive planning.
The academic session is followed by two Open Water Dives for which students
will be required to demonstrate practical application of all aspects of the knowledge
and skills covered in the Theory part of the course, plus demonstrate correct
diving protocols and skills commensurate with holding an Multilevel diver certification.
Course timetable
With the course being run over a single day it makes it very easy to fit into even the most hectic of schedules
You will be collected from your resort at 7.30 am and will be back at the harbour for 3.30 pm.
