Technical Diving allows those with suitable training to dive deeper, enter overhead environments such as a wrecks or caves and of course allows for extended bottom times with specialised equipment.

 

DSAT Tec Deep Course

 

The DSAT Tec Deep course takes you past the recreational diving limits and immerses you in the world of technical diving. This course is a unique and challenging educational course.

 

DSAT offers a fully comprehensive technical diving course that takes an accumulative approach to various separate technical diver training which may include Advanced Nitrox use, decompression procedures and extending no-decompression limits using multiple gases.

 

 

Min Age : 18
Pre-requisites: Rescue Diver or higher rating.
Have a minimum of 100 logged dives of which 20 dives must be enriched air dives, 25 dives must be deeper than 18 meters and 15 dives deeper than 30 meters.
Recommended Schedule : 7 Days
No. Dives : 13 Dives
Student Diver Materials : PADI Tec Deep Manual
Qualification : Internationally recognized - maximum depth of 55 meters.

What will I be qualified to do

Plan and conduct technical decompression and gas management dives using the latest decompression.

Conduct gas-switch for decompression diving requiring accelerated decompression.

Be prepared to handle reasonable foreseeable technical diving emergencies.

Conduct dives to a depth of 50m using air, enriched (up to 100% oxygen).

Understand the hazards and risks involved with technical diving.

 

Course timetable

The course is completed over 7 full days with a mixture of academics and in water training culminating in a 50 meter decompression dive.
